Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

As the Senior Software Engineer on the Virtual Care Platform, this full-time remote position will manage production health and patient experience by swiftly resolving critical issues, enhancing tools and automation, and ensuring operational engineering across a large Python/Django codebase.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of engineering response for production and support issues, triaging immediately to protect the core product team
• Diagnose and fix bugs across a mature Django codebase, making careful live production data edits to resolve urgent issues
• Own and improve the admin portal and internal tooling, empowering support and operational teams to manage workflows independently

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on production systems
• Deep expertise in Python and Django, including experience with Django REST Framework and complex ORM queries
• Proven debugging and production troubleshooting skills in high-stakes environments
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, including query optimization
• Experience operating production SaaS systems with a strong understanding of reliability and operational practices
