Thriving at the intersection of AI and platform engineering, the full-time Senior Software Engineer - AI will design and build systems that enhance developer experiences, including LLM gateways and AI-native agents, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build the AI platform layer, including LLM gateways and shared infrastructure
- Architect and implement AI agents to improve developer workflows across various tasks
- Evaluate and integrate AI model providers, focusing on cost, safety, and performance tradeoffs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience building and operating backend services or platform infrastructure in production
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and familiarity with prompt engineering
- Robust understanding of AI security principles and responsible AI practices
