Senior Software Engineer, AI Evaluation
Job Summary
To support the evaluation of AI coding agents, the part-time contract Senior Software Engineer, AI Evaluation will assess AI-generated coding interactions, focusing on the quality and usefulness of outputs in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end for usefulness and correctness
- Provide clear, opinionated feedback on the quality of explanations and reasoning
- Help define standards for effective interactions with AI tools like Codex and Claude Code
Required qualifications
- Senior, Staff, or Principal-level engineer with equivalent experience
- Strong background in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor
- Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows
- Strong written and spoken English (B2 or above) for detailed feedback and video explanations
