Job Summary
Owning the evolution of ClickHouse's AI ecosystem, the full-time Senior Software Engineer - AI/ML will design and enhance critical integrations, focusing on performance and developer experience while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve ClickHouse's Python connector and SDK ecosystem, improving performance and API design
- Drive the AI/LLM integration strategy, designing connectors for RAG architectures and ML feature pipelines
- Engage with the open-source community to support contributors and shape the roadmap based on feedback
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience, including roles as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining production-grade Python connectors or integrations
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML in production data-engineering contexts
- Solid experience with the Python data ecosystem, including libraries like Pandas and NumPy
- Strong database fundamentals, including SQL and familiarity with OLAP/analytical databases
