Job Summary
Building the core AI platform for a new trading experience, the remote Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform will develop a high-performance backend in Rust, design robust APIs, and collaborate with product teams to enhance AI-native user experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a high-performance backend that supports streaming responses and low-latency tool execution
- Design and implement robust APIs and runtime components for AI capabilities, including authentication and rate limits
- Partner with product and frontend teams to enable effective AI-native UX patterns and workflows
Required qualifications
- At least eight (8) years of experience with strong proficiency in any programming language
- Strong knowledge of systems programming fundamentals, including concurrency and distributed systems patterns
- Experience designing and operating production APIs/services with a focus on observability and security
- Ability to define platform requirements and deliver architecture end-to-end
- High degree of self-motivation and willingness to tackle unfamiliar challenges
