Senior Software Engineer - Application Security
Job Summary
To enhance application security and support DevSecOps practices, the full-time temporary Senior Software Engineer - Application Security will design, develop, and maintain secure applications using Angular, .NET, and React while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain secure applications following Secure SDLC and OWASP practices
- Develop and secure MuleSoft and REST APIs, implementing authentication and authorization controls
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and manage vulnerabilities through SAST, DAST, and SCA tools
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 7+ years of software engineering, application development, or DevSecOps experience
- Strong experience with Secure SDLC, OWASP Top 10, and secure coding practices
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft, REST API development, and API security
- Proficiency in GitHub Actions and GitHub Advanced Security for CI/CD integration
