Job Summary
Designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer - Big Data will work remotely to create high-quality data products that support analytics and AI-driven capabilities across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and observable data pipelines and services for large data sets
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor engineers on best practices for Big Data solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust data solutions and APIs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering focused on data-intensive or distributed systems
- Experience with modern big data, streaming, and cloud-native technologies
- Hands-on experience building agentic solutions or familiarity with major AI tools; Databricks is a plus
- Experience collaborating with product, analytics, and data science teams to deliver scalable data solutions
