Senior Software Engineer - Bluetooth
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer - Bluetooth, the full-time remote position will focus on implementing and extending Bluetooth features across Classic and Low Energy profiles on embedded Linux, while maintaining support for a legacy QNX 6.6 platform.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Bluetooth profile features across Classic and BLE using BlueZ and GCC ARM
- Contribute to software architecture and development by creating robust components in C# on .NET and C/C++
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business objectives and maintain the Bluetooth feature roadmap
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Hands-on experience with an embedded or RTOS-based Bluetooth protocol stack at the HCI, L2CAP, RFCOMM, or profile-implementation level
- Strong proficiency in C# on .NET and C/C++ for stack integration and legacy platform support
- Experience with embedded Linux development, including Yocto or equivalent, and Agile/SCRUM methodologies
