Senior Software Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer II, Services SRE to maintain core services for their marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support the core infrastructure of the search platform
• Collaborate with various teams to develop a high availability search platform in the cloud
• Build and maintain observability and test tooling for search operations

Required Qualifications

• Solid engineering and coding skills with experience in languages like Java, Scala, Python, or Go
• Fundamental experience with infrastructure engineering and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud or AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a plus
• Familiarity with search technologies such as Lucene/Solr or Elasticsearch is a plus
