Job Summary

Driving innovation in machine learning infrastructure, the full-time Senior Software Engineer II will design, develop, and deploy systems that optimize Ads performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning infrastructure to enhance training and serving platforms for Ads
• Optimize performance bottlenecks in the training and serving funnel, focusing on throughput, cost, and latency improvements
• Mentor engineers and lead technical direction while ensuring high code quality and maintainability

Required qualifications

• Graduate degree (masters or PhD) in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in building ML infrastructure or applying machine learning to large datasets
• Expertise in programming (e.g., Python, Go) and data manipulation using SQL, Spark, and Pandas
• Strong understanding of modern machine learning systems and MLOps
• Experience with real-time feature processing and serving systems (e.g., Kafka, Flink)
