Senior Software Engineer II
Job Summary
To support a growing team in a remote capacity, the Senior Software Engineer II will lead the development of complex software solutions, drive technical strategy, and elevate engineering quality across multiple teams while mentoring junior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop complex software solutions by leading end-to-end delivery of large initiatives across multiple systems
- Own and lead projects from design through rollout, ensuring alignment with technical and business goals
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, enhancing their skills in collaboration with AI coding agents
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in delivering complex software systems and solving technical challenges
- Strong backend experience with Python, Flask, and/or FastAPI
- Experience in writing comprehensive backend tests and ensuring strong test coverage
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, and Typescript is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to break down complex projects into manageable components or milestones
