Job Summary
Owning complex multi-quarter integration workstreams, the full-time Senior Software Engineer II will drive technical direction, design systems, and mentor junior engineers while working remotely within the Enterprise Foundations team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end integration projects, including unified customer identity and international storefront expansions
- Drive technical direction by writing ERDs, proposing options, and conducting design reviews
- Build reusable patterns and frameworks for adoption by other engineers across teams
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of backend software engineering experience with ownership of complex projects
- Proven ability to act as the technical DRI for cross-team workstreams
- Experience designing and shipping distributed systems in a production environment
- Strong proficiency with backend technologies such as Ruby/Rails, Python, or Go
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
