Senior Software Engineer, Network Datapath
Job Summary
To build and evolve high-performance networking software, the full-time Senior Software Engineer, Network Datapath will design, develop, and optimize network datapath technologies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance network datapath software for cloud infrastructure
- Build and enhance packet-processing and forwarding systems focusing on throughput, latency, and reliability
- Analyze packet-processing paths to identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks
Required qualifications
- Strong experience in C, C++, or Go for production software development
- Deep understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, and load balancing
- Experience with Linux-based networking systems and internals
- Familiarity with high-performance networking technologies such as DPDK, XDP, or eBPF
- Ability to independently drive projects from design through production deployment
