Job Summary
To enhance high-performance networking across cloud infrastructure, the full-time Senior Software Engineer, Network Datapath will design, develop, and optimize software for packet processing, routing, and integration with hardware components in a remote role.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-performance network datapath software for cloud infrastructure
- Develop and improve packet-processing and forwarding systems focusing on throughput and reliability
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex production networking issues, enhancing performance and scalability
Required qualifications
- Strong experience in C, C++, or Go for production software development
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, and packet processing
- Experience with Linux-based networking systems and debugging performance-sensitive applications
- Familiarity with high-performance networking technologies such as DPDK, eBPF, or XDP
- Ability to drive projects independently from design through implementation and deployment
