Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer, Payments, who will design, build, and maintain systems for processing ACH and wire transfers at scale, ensuring secure and efficient money movement in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain systems that process ACH and wire transfers, including origination, settlement, and reconciliation
- Implement controls for wire fraud prevention and transaction verification in collaboration with security and compliance teams
- Own architectural decisions for payments infrastructure, focusing on data integrity and audit logging
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack web developer
- Direct experience with money-movement systems in regulated environments, such as banking or fintech
- Strong understanding of transactional integrity and failure-mode design in financial systems
- Familiarity with payment rails and financial compliance standards (e.g., NACHA, PCI)
- Experience making architectural decisions for large, high-stakes projects
