Senior Software Engineer, Security

Job Summary

Hands-on and system-oriented, the full-time Senior Software Engineer, Security will design and implement security improvements, manage vulnerabilities, and enhance internal tooling to protect a large user base, working hybrid from Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Key responsibilities

• Design and ship security enhancements, including authentication, authorization, and secrets management
• Build detection and response capabilities to proactively address abuse and fraud issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement security measures effectively

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on security or infrastructure
• Strong full-stack skills in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and AWS
• Working knowledge of application security fundamentals and common attack classes
• Experience in threat modeling and translating findings into actionable work
• Proven track record of safely shipping changes in high-traffic environments
