Job Summary
As a full-time Senior Software Engineer (TS/SCI), the candidate will design, build, and maintain backend services and frontend interfaces for the Okta Identity Governance team, ensuring compliance with government security standards while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure across high-compliance security baselines
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure software deployments meet stringent governmental security standards
- Proactively identify and prioritize tech debt, driving improvements in CI/CD, observability, documentation, and reliability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in software engineering with experience in shipping enterprise cloud software
- Hands-on depth in coding using Java, Python, or TypeScript, along with API and UI automation experience
- Experience with CI/CD, containers, and a major cloud platform
- Proven experience defining scalable backend architectures and integrating complex APIs with modern web technologies
