Senior Software Engineer with TS/SCI Clearance
Job Summary
To support critical NGA business applications, the full-time Senior Software Engineer with TS/SCI Clearance will architect and develop core applications using Java and React, while engaging directly with customers to gather requirements and ensuring software solutions meet user needs in a telecommute-friendly environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA, and build responsive front-ends with React and TypeScript
- Design and secure RESTful APIs for integration with other systems and manage PostgreSQL databases on AWS RDS
- Participate in Agile Scrum processes, including sprints and sprint reviews, while managing work through Jira
Required qualifications
- BA/BS in a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in application development with Java, preferably using Spring Boot
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph
- Experience developing software in an AWS or C2S cloud environment
