Senior Software Engineering Architect

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end solution architecture across investment technologies, the full-time Senior Software Engineering Architect will define reference architecture, mentor teams, and drive the modernization of applications and data platforms in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the architecture for applications, services, and data across front-, middle-, and back-office teams
• Define and enforce reference architecture standards, including data flows and API-first service standards
• Engage with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementations and set engineering standards for testing and observability

Required qualifications:

• 12+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in architecting platforms for buy-side investments
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two tiers of the technology stack, including application engineering and cloud infrastructure
• Working fluency in investment data domains, including trade lifecycle and fixed income
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud data platforms like Snowflake
• Experience integrating major investment platforms and delivering under audit controls such as SOX or SOC
