Senior Software Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Managing complex software development initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Engineering Manager will oversee Agile teams, establish project objectives, and lead modernization efforts for transaction monitoring systems, all while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple development efforts supporting web services, software deployment, and partner framework integrations
- Lead Agile sprint teams in planning, prioritizing, and delivering software features aligned with project requirements
- Oversee system architecture development and contribute to full-cycle web application and middleware development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of experience
- Experience with project planning tools such as Smart Sheet and database design using SQL and NoSQL
- Proficiency in C#, .Net core, and ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, or Talend
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life-cycle tools like Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of code version control systems such as GIT or SVN
