Senior Software Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of 10-16 engineers, the full-time Senior Software Engineering Manager will direct the development of high-quality web portal features, applying design thinking and supporting the transformation to AI Development Life Cycle pods in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct a team to deliver web portal features according to backlogs, timelines, and budgets
- Apply design thinking to drive architecture decisions and develop reusable modular solutions
- Mentor and develop engineering talent while fostering a high-performing team culture
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience developing web or enterprise digital portals
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with Java, Spring, and modern web frameworks (Angular/React)
- 4+ years of experience with software design and architecture patterns
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams
- Hands-on experience with machine learning models and/or Generative AI solutions
