Senior Software Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of 3 to 5 engineers in a full-time remote capacity, the Senior Software Engineering Manager will oversee the design and implementation of multi-region AWS architectures, manage team delivery, and maintain high-quality standards for software development and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring their growth and performance
- Lead the design and maintenance of AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK and Terraform
- Collaborate with client engineering and product leaders to prioritize and deliver on project commitments
Required qualifications
- BS or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including hiring and performance management
- Significant hands-on experience with AWS, including designing production systems
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and/or Terraform
