Job Summary

Leading the Computer Backup engineering team, the full-time Senior Software Engineering Manager will set the long-term technical direction, oversee multi-quarter delivery strategies, and manage budget accountability in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full Computer Backup engineering team, ensuring effective collaboration between Desktop and Backend Leads
• Set the long-term technical direction and oversee the multi-quarter delivery strategy for the Computer Backup product
• Ensure the reliability and performance of both the desktop client and backend services while championing engineering quality and agile processes

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering management experience, including managing managers or team leads in a cloud or SaaS environment
• Experience in setting long-term technical direction and system architecture for a growing product
• Proven track record in owning multi-quarter technical and delivery strategy
• Strong software engineering background with deep expertise in system architecture and the full software development lifecycle
• Demonstrated experience managing distributed, remote engineering teams with effective async communication practices
