Senior Software Product Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and development of complex systems for a large federal government project, the full-time Senior Software Product Engineer will work remotely to create scalable cloud-native architectures and AI-enabled applications that enhance healthcare technology platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop event-driven, data-intensive backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS
- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions with clearly defined service boundaries and REST APIs
- Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and maintain automated testing strategies across various testing types
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including designing and deploying AI-enabled systems
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
- Strong experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Demonstrated experience applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
