Senior Software QA Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Software QA Engineer will design application workflows, evaluate QA tools, and provide tier-2 and tier-3 support while collaborating with IT teams to enhance application services for end-users.
Key responsibilities
- Independently design and improve application workflows and testing protocols
- Provide analytical assistance and support for IT system incidents, mentoring junior team members
- Present data service analytics and application performance metrics to leadership while acting as a liaison between customers and support staff
Required qualifications
- BA/BS in information technology or a business-related field from an accredited college or university
- Five or more years of related work experience in software development and QA
- Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL and no-SQL databases
- Experience with Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
