Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Software Systems Engineer (DO-178).
Key Responsibilities
- Decompose high-level software requirements into detailed, verifiable low-level requirements
- Develop and maintain a bi-directional traceability matrix linking requirements to source code
- Create and maintain requirements documentation in accordance with DO-178C guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in software requirements engineering within a safety-critical environment
- Strong understanding of the DO-178C standard, particularly related to requirements processes
- Proven experience in creating and maintaining requirements traceability matrices
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., Polarion, Jama Connect, DOORS)
