Senior Software Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Software Systems Engineer (.Net Developer) will perform technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage technical planning, software systems integration, and provide technical support for software systems
- Utilize full-stack development expertise to build and maintain .Net back-end applications, ensuring performance and quality
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and document software designs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with at least five years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong proficiency in C# and MVC architecture
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework for database design and development
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, along with CI/CD practices and tools
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience with unit testing frameworks
