Senior Software Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Software Systems Engineer (.Net Developer) will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of .Net back-end applications using C#, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform technical planning and detailed requirements definition, including test planning and execution
- Utilize full-stack development expertise to build and maintain software systems, ensuring performance and quality
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and document software designs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field with five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and MVC architecture
- Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as version control systems like GIT
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
