Senior Software Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Software Systems Engineer (.Net Developer) will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development using C# and .Net technologies in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition for software systems, including test planning and execution
- Develop and maintain back-end applications using C# within the .Net framework, ensuring performance and quality through CI/CD practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and promote good software engineering practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field, with relevant experience
- Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Expertise in C#, .Net framework, and back-end application development using MVC architecture
- Proficiency in database design and development with SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices
