Senior Software Test Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and implementing automated test frameworks and tools, the full-time Senior Software Test Engineer will develop scalable Python-based automation infrastructure and collaborate with developers to ensure the reliability and quality of enterprise software systems, with a hybrid work arrangement based in Tukwila, WA.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools using Python for services, APIs, and UI workflows
- Build simulators and emulators to replicate third-party environments and network behavior for in-house testing
- Monitor automated test runs, analyze failures, and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience as a Software Test Engineer, Automation Engineer, or SDET with hands-on software development responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent additional experience of four years
- Strong proficiency in Python, including building automation frameworks and creating test harnesses
- Experience developing automated API tests using Python Requests or equivalent frameworks
- Familiarity with CI-based automated test pipelines and the ability to analyze automated test results
