Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Senior Software Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables using programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to meet organizational standards
- Lead testing efforts on software and IT systems, documenting and communicating test results
- Provide technical solutions to complex problems and support the resolution of issues identified during testing
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
