Senior Solutions Analyst
Job Summary
To support the modernization program for the U.S. Department of the Interior, the full-time Senior Solutions Analyst will bridge business discovery and technical delivery by translating validated business requirements into clear solution designs, working remotely with occasional travel to project locations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead solution-focused discovery and process assessments with stakeholders to understand business needs and implementation considerations
- Translate validated requirements and workflows into comprehensive solution designs, including user interactions and data integrations
- Evaluate solution approaches for feasibility and scalability while maintaining traceability from business needs to user acceptance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in solutions analysis or related fields
- Demonstrated experience in translating complex business requirements into technical solution designs
- Broad working knowledge of enterprise applications, APIs, data modeling, and modern application delivery concepts
- Experience leading discovery and solution-definition work in complex environments with multiple systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding solution concepts and trade-offs
