Senior Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
Independently leading technical engagements for customers, the remote Senior Solutions Engineer will design solutions, conduct platform demonstrations, and manage customer relationships to drive adoption of the Databricks platform within Digital Native accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads in data engineering, analytics, and machine learning
- Build and deliver proofs-of-concept and live demos that drive technical wins
- Develop account-level technical strategies in collaboration with Account Executives to enhance platform consumption
Required qualifications
- 4+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or consulting roles
- Proficient in Python and SQL with experience in debugging and writing production-quality code
- Hands-on experience with data solutions on at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Working knowledge of distributed data systems such as Apache Spark or Delta Lake
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)
