Senior Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
To support the sales team with technical expertise, the full-time Senior Solutions Engineer will provide technical knowledge around F5 solutions, articulate product strategies, and drive the sales process while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Articulate F5's product strategy and value proposition to align with customer business objectives
- Provide technical expertise through presentations, solution designs, and proof of concepts
- Collaborate with sales teams and internal resources to drive customer engagement and support throughout the sales cycle
Required qualifications
- BS/BA degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems) or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role
- Experience with traffic management and load-balancing technologies (e.g., F5, Citrix, Riverbed)
- Knowledge of HTTP, web servers, and associated protocols (TCP/IP, SSL, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture
