Job Summary
To support the NSC Procurement Department, the full-time Senior Sourcing Specialist will manage end-to-end sourcing processes, lead negotiations with suppliers, and build a project pipeline while collaborating with stakeholders to drive cost savings and improve sourcing practices, with the option for remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full end-to-end ownership of assigned categories, including project identification and sourcing leadership
- Lead the sourcing process (RFI and RFQ), negotiating with suppliers to achieve significant cost savings
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring alignment on goals and driving sourcing initiatives
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3-4 years of Purchasing or related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Sciences (or related field) preferred
- Experience with Excel, including pivot tables and standard functions
- Knowledge of legal and contractual issues related to negotiations
- Experience with Coupa Source-to-Pay is an asset but not mandatory
