Senior Spectrum Warfare Engineer

Job Summary

Serving as a senior technical presence for the 53rd Wing and 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing, the part-time Senior Spectrum Warfare Forward Deployed Engineer will apply AI and machine learning to RF challenges, develop and sustain AI-enabled RF capabilities, and lead the deployment of a proliferated sensing network while collaborating closely with operators and engineering teams at Eglin AFB, FL.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain consistent on-site engagement with operators and engineers to address RF and EW challenges
• Set the technical direction for AI application in RF problems and lead the design and deployment of sensing networks
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for RF signal processing and support test planning and execution

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in RF systems, electronic warfare, or related fields
• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
• Demonstrated experience applying AI/ML to RF or sensor data in operational environments
• Strong hands-on engineering ability with proficiency in Python and digital signal processing tools
• Recognized technical authority in RF or EW with credibility among operational engineers
