Senior Splunk Administrator

Job Summary

To ensure optimal performance and operational continuity, the contract Senior Splunk Administrator will manage day-to-day administration of Splunk and Cribl environments, support data onboarding, and troubleshoot platform issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide administration and monitoring of Splunk and Cribl environments, focusing on system health and performance tuning
• Maintain and support existing Splunk dashboards, alerts, and data inputs, resolving issues as they arise
• Manage onboarding of new data sources through Cribl pipelines, ensuring data quality and correct routing

Required qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Splunk administration, including search, indexing, and dashboards
• Working knowledge of Cribl Stream for routing, enrichment, and pipeline management
• Experience administering Linux systems, including log collection and troubleshooting
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across the logging platform
• Ability to work in a Central Time Zone aligned schedule and support after-hours maintenance
