Senior SQL Database Administrator
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior SQL Database Administrator will manage and maintain SQL and Oracle database environments, ensuring system integrity and supporting backend applications across various platforms.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute daily troubleshooting, system setup, and configuration for SQL Server and SQL Clusters
- Perform proactive capacity planning and system health monitoring using Idera and SolarWinds
- Assist users with building and configuring SQL and Oracle databases while resolving related issues
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in database administration
- Experience managing request lifecycles within ServiceNow
- Proficiency in troubleshooting database issues across SQL, Oracle, and MS Access
- Knowledge of HA/DR, Oracle Grid, and Oracle RMAN technologies
- Ability to respond to and execute Requests for Changes (RFCs) for ongoing maintenance
