Senior SQL Database Administrator
Job Summary
To support the Defense Logistics Agency, the full-time Senior SQL Database Administrator will manage enterprise application databases, ensuring their availability, performance, and reliability while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, create, configure, and maintain complex databases in client/server environments
- Execute database Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) responsibilities, including planning and documentation
- Provide data management support, including data cleansing, database modeling, and enforcement of data integrity processes
Required qualifications:
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government PUBLIC TRUST / SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance
- BS in Information Systems or related experience
- 5+ years of experience in the database field with domain and expert technical knowledge
- Proven proficiency in creating and managing standalone SQL and Oracle databases
- Demonstrated expertise across SQL, SQL Server, SQL Clustering, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB
