Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Senior Deltek Vantagepoint SQL Database Administrator, this role will manage technical ownership, administration, and performance optimization of the Deltek Vantagepoint environment, requiring strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior SQL DBA and technical database subject-matter expert for Deltek Vantagepoint
- Troubleshoot complex Vantagepoint application and data issues by analyzing underlying tables, relationships, and transactions
- Support database backup, recovery, security, and maintenance processes while ensuring the integrity and performance of the SQL Server databases
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Microsoft SQL Server database administration and development experience
- 3+ years supporting Deltek Vantagepoint or a comparable enterprise ERP/financial database environment
- Advanced expertise in T-SQL and SQL Server performance tuning
- Strong knowledge of relational database architecture and complex transactional systems
- Experience performing database-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for enterprise applications
