Senior SQL Server DBA
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time temporary basis, the Senior SQL Server DBA will administer and support SQL Server and cloud databases, ensuring uptime and availability while troubleshooting application issues and tuning SQL performance.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor databases to maintain uptime and availability
- Troubleshoot application/database issues related to connectivity, access, and security
- Perform SQL Server installations and support database administration and tuning
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server database management
- Expertise in SQL clustering, mirroring, and high availability
- Experience with Azure Cloud and SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- Proficiency in writing and debugging Transact SQL
