Senior SQL Server DBA
Job Summary
Providing senior database administration and operational support for GPO's SQL Server environments, the full-time Senior SQL Server DBA will create and maintain databases, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure high availability while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create, configure, administer, and maintain standalone and clustered SQL Server databases
- Diagnose database and application integration issues, leading troubleshooting and incident resolution
- Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and maintain backup/restoration and disaster recovery capabilities
Required qualifications
- Minimum eight years of experience in SQL Server database administration
- Hands-on experience with SQL, SQL clustering, and SQL scripting
- Proficiency in database provisioning, performance tuning, and security management
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
