Senior SRE Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure the availability and operational efficiency of business systems on AWS and Tencent Cloud, the full-time Senior SRE Engineer will manage cloud operations, lead incident response, and drive automation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own cloud operations, ensuring availability, stability, and capacity planning for business systems on AWS and Tencent Cloud
- Lead P0/P1 incident response and troubleshooting across various components, producing postmortems and improvement plans
- Build and optimize observability systems, enhancing monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to improve operational reliability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in operations, SRE, or cloud-native operations
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS or Tencent Cloud, with familiarity in the other platform
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux, networking, and common middleware
- Proficiency in Shell scripting and at least one programming language such as Python or Go
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker, including their core concepts and stability issues
