Job Summary
Leading a team in a remote contract position, the Senior SSO Architect will design, implement, and manage enterprise Single Sign-On solutions, focusing on Ping Identity products while overseeing high-availability environments in a healthcare context.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage enterprise Single Sign-On solutions, ensuring high availability and resilience
- Serve as the technical authority for authentication strategies supporting over 70,000 users
- Collaborate with architecture and security teams to develop scalable and secure identity solutions
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) engineering
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering squads and mentoring developers
- Proven experience in high-availability environments, preferably in healthcare and HIPAA compliance
- Deep expertise in Ping Identity products, including PingFederate and PingOne
- Strong familiarity with federation protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
