Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers, the contract Senior SSO Architect will design, implement, and manage enterprise Single Sign-On solutions in a remote capacity, focusing on Ping Identity products and ensuring high availability for over 70,000 users in a healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the design and management of enterprise Single Sign-On solutions, emphasizing cloud integrations
- Act as the technical authority for authentication strategies, ensuring secure and efficient identity solutions
- Mentor engineering teams and maintain high availability of core federation environments during migration efforts
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) engineering
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering squads and mentoring developers
- Proven experience in high-availability environments, preferably within healthcare and HIPAA compliance
- Expertise in Ping Identity products, including PingFederate and PingOne
- Strong knowledge of federation protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
