Job Summary
Supporting the investment accounting management team, the full-time remote Senior Staff Accountant will manage project work, assist with cash balancing and general ledger reviews, and process complex investment activities while ensuring compliance with GAAP and statutory reporting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Support project work and process improvements within the Investment Accounting team
- Assist in cash balancing, general ledger entry reviews, and preparation of SEC, GAAP, and NAIC statutory reports
- Validate data integrity within investment subledgers and prepare monthly and quarterly workpapers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting concepts
- Prior experience with Investment Accounting Systems
- Aptitude for data analysis and learning new systems
