Job Summary
The full-time Senior Staff AI Engineer will set the technical direction for AI systems, build evaluation frameworks, and ensure the quality and safety of AI agents while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Set the technical direction for agent runtime and orchestration, including tool integration and context management
- Build evaluation systems to ensure AI performance and reliability through rigorous testing and metrics
- Manage observability and cost tracking for AI operations while ensuring patient data security and compliance
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership roles
- 2+ years of experience building and running LLM-based systems in production
- Deep expertise in agent runtime or evaluation, with knowledge across the AI engineering stack
- Proven track record of measuring AI quality using real evaluation methods
- Experience leading a small team's technical direction from inception
