Senior Staff AI Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the secure deployment and operation of AI and ML systems, the full-time Senior Staff AI Security Engineer will design secure gateways and orchestration layers, manage adversarial research and red-teaming practices, and align AI security strategies with business goals in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure AI gateways and policy orchestration layers across multiple AI models and service providers
• Lead a formal AI red-teaming practice to identify vulnerabilities and document remediation paths
• Own the AI security roadmap, advising senior leadership on AI risks and fostering a collaborative security culture

Required qualifications

• Proven track record of building and scaling security systems in high-growth environments
• High proficiency in Python or Go for building and automating security tooling
• Deep understanding of LLM-specific attack vectors and experience with the OWASP LLM Top 10 framework
• Experience designing secure API gateways and orchestration layers using infrastructure as code
• Strong grasp of AI/ML fundamentals, including model supply chain and data privacy risks
