Senior Staff Data Architect

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Senior Staff Data Architect will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platform infrastructure to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and AI-driven decision-making, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust ELT/ETL pipelines to ingest data from enterprise source systems into the data lake and warehouse
• Develop and maintain data models across various layers of the medallion architecture, applying appropriate patterns
• Implement data quality checks and automated monitoring to ensure pipeline reliability and compliance with governance standards

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering with a proven track record of delivering production-grade pipelines
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL and Python, including the ability to write and debug production code
• Practical experience with cloud data warehouses and transformation frameworks
• Demonstrated experience building pipelines that ingest data from SaaS applications via various methods
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered
