Senior Staff Developer - DSP
Job Summary
To support the innovative Grid Automation Technology team, the full-time remote Senior Staff Developer - DSP will analyze complex requirements to architect effective DSP design solutions and drive platform reuse strategies for embedded systems in the power grid domain.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements to architect DSP design solutions and overall system architecture
- Drive platform reuse strategies and communicate technical risks and solutions to cross-functional teams
- Capture detailed requirements from stakeholders and manage change impact analysis on system architecture
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of software development experience
- At least 8 years of experience in DSP algorithm design and implementation (FFT, IIR, FIR)
- Experience with embedded software development, including Assembly, C/C++, VxWorks, Linux, and ARM
- Familiarity with MATLAB is a plus
